I first stumbled over these guys in the Examiner. Donald Trump was questioning even Rubio's eligibility to run for the office of President. He tweeted a story on it. And the source? Reporting from the Powdered Wig Society.
It is totally inspiring to see the effect a small shop can have on national questions. Especially when the MSM has proven how utterly useless they are. Of course you look at an outfit like Drudge, and think, yes, amazing for a couple guys working out of an apartment in Hollywood. But they're established. Not establishment, but established. PWS is pretty new and right in the rough and tumble of it all.
Yes, their headlines have the long winded flare (and charm) of headlines from the Daily Mail, but it works well enough that 175,000 people hit that like button on FaceBook. Maybe because their style dovetails well with the Trump style of campaigning. Put out feelers and drop bombs.
The point? Breaking stories, churn, action, entertainment, good reporting and people hacking away at stories the MSM should be covering but aren't. The main guy goes under the moniker Thomas Madison (Ex-Army officer and stone-cold patriot) I asked him what some of his favorite and most successful stories were. He shot these back:
Though he didn't say whether they were the most widely read, or just personal favorites. Ten days before the election that will decide the fate of Western civilization. Things are busy right now!
